Dan and Mia are the Kid's Pastors for the church.  Dan is a former elementary school principal.  He is currently employeed by EdisonLearning as Director of Enrollment and Student Information.  He stays in touch with kids' lives by providing site support to before and after school programs, summer programs,  as well as charter schools across the United States.  Mia is a former middle school teacher for the Wichita Public Schools. 

Dan and Mia met at Mid America Nazarene University in speech class and later married in 1992.  After the birth of their two boys Jacob and Jonathan, Mia decided to stay at home.  Mia has enjoyed her time at home playing basketball, going on bike rides, and making up fun around Wichita with her boys.  Dan enjoys landscaping, grilling, and watching his boys play sports.  The newest addition to their family is Peyton, a Golden Doodle that loves to play ball and get wet.  We love to travel together.  Some of our favorite places to travel are Colorado, California, and anywhere that has water, a beach, the hot sun, and a palm tree! 

Dan and Mia have taught Sunday School at First Church for the past 13 years.  They love being with and ministering to kids.  Kids are a lot of fun and much can be learned from them!  They are excited to be a part of the great Kid Ministries Team here at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene.
